MINCED GARLIC
Ingredients:

1 bulb of garlic
1 tsp citric acid
filtered water
Place in the fridge and use every time you want to add garlic.
Use 1/2 tsp of your minced garlic which is equivalent to 1 clove.

Instructions:

Remove peel from all cloves in your bulb. To easily achieve this, separate all cloves, then lay each clove on its side on the cutting board. Then using the side of a knife, press down on the clove until you hear a crack. Then cut the bottom off and the peel should come away quickly and easily. Do this to all the cloves.

When they have all been peeled, place them in a chopper (I use this one), or chop them up fine with a knife.
After your garlic is chopped, put it into a small glass container, I use the really small wide mouth mason jar with a reusable plastic lid. Then add 1 tsp of citric acid, and fill the container up with filtered water until the garlic is covered. Stir well to dissolve the citric acid.
Sarah's Tip
"In our house, we tend to go through one bulb of minced garlic every 2 weeks."
